YUMMY: Almost Homemade Jambalaya Pasta

"Yummy" will be my food segment I will try to post at least one to two new recipes per week for you guys. I love to cook and try new things in the kitchen and if like pasta and New Orleans cuisine you should enjoy this simple pasta dish! I got this idea from Ruby Tuesdays I love their Jambalaya Pasta and I hope you guys enjoy mine!

My Ingredients:
1 Pack of Fettuccine Pasta (Or whatever your prefer)
Salt & Black Pepper
1 Can of Chicken Broth
Olive Oil
Chopped Garlic
Chicken Breast
New Style Orleans Sausage (Andouille or Smoked) I used Johnsonville N.O.Style
Chicken Breast
1 Medium Red Onion Chopped
1 Red, Yellow and Green Bell Pepper Chopped
2 Tsp Liquid Smoke
4 Tb Worcestershire Sauce
Cajun Seasoning  (Whatever brand your prefer)
1 Can Tomatoes with Green Chilies
Cleaned Uncooked Shrimp Deveined
The Cheating Ingredients:
Bertolli Original Alfredo Sauce
1 Tb Brown Sugar

1. In a Frying pan Add Olive Oil, Chopped Chicken, Chopped Sausage, Chopped Onions, and Garlic and let that cook for about 15 mins Then add in Worcestershire Sauce, Liquid Smoke, and Cajun Seasoning as you let the chicken cook.

2. Let the "chicken pan" cook....In a Large Pot add water, chicken broth, salt and black pepper to boil the noodles in for about 10 mins or until noodles are tender. Drain the noodles and Keep a cup of the chicken broth to add to the sauce mixture later.

3.When all the ingredients in the "chicken pan" have finished cooking completely add in the canned tomatoes/ chilies, and let that heat and mash up. Add in the extra chicken broth and the Bertolli Alfredo Sauce....Stir in Brown Sugar. When it comes to a boil add in the shrimps they cook SUPER quick they will be done in about 5 mins or less (until they turn pink) then turn the heat off immediately. Serve sauce mixture over pasta & Enjoy!

I don't have it all figured out. I'm just trying to get my figure right!
