As a fluffy lady I have to always stay up on my diet and exercise. In my experiences I have learned that the more interesting the work out plan, the easier it is for a person to stick to it. Today's progression of more unorthodox fitness plans are far from the 80's workout era of VHS and leotards. There is almost every kind of work out you can think of now. Trendy workouts always come and go but the most important thing is that you find a plan that actually works for you. If you love to dance whether it be in the club or even in the privacy of your own home its always a great workout. The recent new dance craze called Twerking has become a major epidemic in not only the Hip-Hop community but all genres of people thanks to controversial buzz of Miley Cyrus. Twerking is not only a sexual dance done for likes on social networks but it can also be a great source of a workout.
Twerking can be defined as the rapid gyration of the gluteus muscles in the thighs and derriere region. This rapid muscle movement done in proper repetition can serve as a very healthy and fun way to workout. Twerking requires the muscles in your legs, thighs, and butt to synchronize in turn promoting a more tones physical appearance in your lower body. The rapid movement of your body with the music also promotes the elevation of your heart rate allowing your body to burn calories. The cardio and toning aspects of twerking make it one of the most creative and low maintenance effective exercises. The only real supplies needed for twerking are comfortable clothing, lots of space and your favorite ass shaking music lol.
So when you hear your favorite twerk anthem don't be afraid to shake something. Enjoy it and own your twerk! The most important part of it all is to have fun and DON'T DROP THAT THUN THUN THUN! lol
