YUMMY: Spinach Quiche

One of my favorite fall foods has to be Quiche! Its great for breakfast brunch and even dinner a truly all purpose food. Its simple to make and you can put whatever you wan in it honestly. This Quiche recipe is one of my favorites I got from Allrecipes.com . It is perfect if your entertaining guests or for you and your family.

Ingredients: (You can add or remove ingredients according to your own personal taste!)

• 1/2 cup butter
• 3 cloves garlic, chopped
• 1 small onion, chopped
• 1 (10 ounce) package frozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
• 1 (4.5 ounce) can mushrooms, drained
• 1 (6 ounce) package herb and garlic feta, crumbled
• 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Cheddar cheese
• salt and pepper to taste
• 1 (9 inch) unbaked deep dish pie crust
• 4 eggs, beaten
• 1 cup milk
• salt and pepper to taste

Directions: (Takes about an Hour)

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
2. In a medium skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Saute garlic and onion in butter until lightly browned, about 7 minutes. Stir in spinach, mushrooms, feta and 1/2 cup Cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Spoon mixture into pie crust.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs and milk. Season with salt and pepper. Pour into the pastry shell, allowing egg mixture to thoroughly combine with spinach mixture.
4. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes. Sprinkle top with remaining Cheddar cheese, and bake an additional 35 to 40 minutes, until set in center. Allow to stand 10 minutes before serving.

Yes God its my favorite time of the year Automate!!! I love the colors, weather, fashion, food and of course the holidays! This is the time of the year when the wind begins to whistle, the leaves begin to change color and we begin to transition  our wardrobes. We trade in our crop tops for cardigans and sandals for saddle boots. I love shopping for fall it gives me a chance to add to my collection of hats, scarf, sweaters, coats and all the cozy things I adore. This is also a time to recycle some of your summer gear and use it as a more versatile garment.

I am a huge boot lover! I love all kinds of boots especially in the fall and winter months. Tall boots and riding boots are always in but if you are a plus size lady with thick legs like myself it can sometimes be next to impossible to find boots that go over the calf muscle easily. If you know me you know I love a fly ass coat for fall. A coat has to provide comfort, be light enough but most important be warm and cozy! One of my favorite websites to check out  really stylish and trendy coats is Fashion to Figure. They also have a few boutiques in  the Upper East coast so if your in the NY, NJ, CT, MD area look for the closes one near you. When I'm in New York I go to the boutique in King Plaza mall on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn. There coasts are really affordable ( Nothing over 50$) and they can last a while if taken care of properly.

Although fall is typically when you cover up there are still times when you want to go out and be sexy. I love a long sleeve club dress in fall. The sleeves not only keep you warm in the street but they also add to the allure of your outfit.
